
Doctor Oscar Vazquez is an academically trained sports medicine specialist. His combination of formal education and hands on experience has molded him into a thoroughly competent and esteemed sports medicine physician among his colleagues and patients. Oscar Vazquez graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology and Behavior.
He continued his education at John Hopkins University and achieved his Doctor of Medicine in 2003. He furthered his expertise with a residency at New York University/Hospital for Joint Diseases from June 2003 to June 2008. Doctor Oscar Vasquez went on to continue his education with academic guidance from Dr. James Tibone and Dr. John Itamura in Sports Medicine and Shoulder & Elbow Surgery at the University of Southern California. Athletes of all levels respect Dr Vazquez for the useful information he provides.
Besides practicing sports medicine, Dr Oscar Vazquez has become popular and well-respected for several of his publications. He is persistently researching about new findings about the human anatomy. His fact-findings have been contributed as articles in well-known publications. Dr Vazquez’s work is his passion, his desire is to see the sports medicine field advance and evolve.
